dear doctor,

I’m 51, deeply disturbed by noise in the ear, visited ENT specialist and detected slight hearing loss. Was told nothing can be done or cure what is known as “Tintinus” and was send home with some Ginkgo table.

Are there really no cure?

Please help.

Dear Sir,
Is there any medication that you can recommend for below problems?

1. hearing problem with noise/buzzing sound in the ear all the time
2. child having cerabal palsy
3. always feeling tired
4. body easily get heaty

Chinese physician answer:

1.You can consume Longdan Xie Gan Wan (龙胆泻肝丸) or Erlong Zuo Ci Capsule (尔聋左磁丸) for hearing problem.
2.Be patient in treating Child Cerebral Palsy because it cannot simply treated by medication.
3.You can take Shengmai liquid which is made from ginseng, ophiopogon and schisandra chinensis or you can take any tonic that suits you.
4.Ngau Wong Gaai Duk Pin (牛黄解毒片) used to clear away heat expel. Reduce intake of spicy and fried foods & at the same time you are advised to take bird’s nest, hashima, etc.
It is better for you to seek consultation from physician and consume medication under guidance to avoid incorrect treatment.

Hi, doc,

Bernice again, please excuse my english and needed your advice for my conditions.

My hearing problem happened on 29.06.2008 at 11am, my right ear suddenly having some hears ringing “Tinnitus”. I consulted ENT doctor at Columbia Asia in Miri, Sarawak on the following day with my flu. Dcotor checked my nose & right ear and had my blood tested. The blood test result said it was a due to dust mite and i was given medication “Flixonase
and some pills”. After 6 months later, my conditions shows no improvement. Is there anything that i can do?

Maybe you are having 2 types of problem, firstly your nose was affected by mites and secondly your Tinnitus. You are advised to get acupuncture treatment for your problems
